For real men who like to keep their libido satisfied.

This blog is for real men. At least… for men who don’t let themselves be guided by marketing, but by facts.
Because let's be honest: meat and masculinity have been linked for decades. Not because it is true, but because it is smart. Smart for the industry, mind you.
You know the images: The man at the barbecue. The man with the steak. The man who doesn't eat salad, because that would be “not manly.”
It is advertising. It is culture. It is repetition. But it is not biology.

How the meat industry created the image of the 'real man'
For years, a narrative has been systematically portrayed: meat = strength, meat = testosterone, meat = masculinity. Plant-based eating? That would be soft. Something for women. Something for paternalism. Something for “the leftist church.” But whoever shouts that forgets one thing: the powerful lobby of the livestock and agro-industry. Worldwide.
And yes, our ancestors ate meat — but not like we do now. No factory animals. No antibiotics. No genetic manipulation. No daily portions. They ate meat when they caught something. Sometimes not for days. Sometimes a little. Sometimes a lot. But never three times a day.
We no longer live in the Stone Age. We live in a world where science tells us something important.
The hard truth: eating a lot of meat doesn't make you more masculine
In fact, it can literally undermine your masculinity.
More and more studies show that excessive meat consumption in men leads to:
poorer blood circulation
more inflammation
damage to the endothelium (the “Teflon layer” of your blood vessels)
thicker blood
higher risk of cardiovascular disease
and yes… erection problems

Erectile dysfunction and cardiovascular disease go hand in hand. If your blood cannot flow freely, it cannot flow freely anywhere — not even there.
That is not propaganda. That is physiology.
Why meat damages your endothelium
The endothelium is the innermost layer of your blood vessels. You can think of it as a smooth, protective coating that ensures blood flows smoothly through your body.
When you eat a lot of meat, this happens:
Your blood becomes thicker
Inflammation is increasing
cholesterol particles oxidize
plaque forms in the vessel wall
blood circulation deteriorates
And blood circulation just happens to be the basis of… everything that makes masculinity physically possible.
So anyone who still claims that eating meat is cool has mostly a cool story — but no cool facts.

More plant-based = more masculinity
That doesn't mean you can never eat meat again. But less meat and more plants is simply better for your heart, your blood vessels, and your libido.
And if you want to take one plant-based group seriously, it is this one:
Dark green leafy vegetables.
Spinach, kale, arugula, chard, etc...
Why?
Because they are rich in nitrates — natural substances that help your blood vessels relax and dilate. They act as a kind of natural balm for your endothelium.
Better blood circulation = better performance. In the gym and in the bedroom.
The bottom line
Masculinity is not in what you put on your plate. It is in how well your body functions.
And that works better with:
more plants
less meat
better blood circulation
fewer inflammations
stronger blood vessels
Do you want to maintain your masculinity — or even strengthen it? Then it is time to look beyond marketing.
In my next blog, I dive deeper into the power of dark green leafy vegetables: why they protect your heart, repair your blood vessels, and support your libido.
