Lifestyle coach, inspiration and founder of 'How to Age Gracefully'

Who is Ramon?

My name is Ramon, and I'm the proud founder of 'How to Age Gracefully' (formerly Vitality Netherlands). As a lifestyle coach, I've been committed to raising awareness of the impact of lifestyle, vitality, and sustainability on their health since 2014. My goal is to inspire and guide people toward a healthier, more vital, and more sustainable life, so they can become the best versions of themselves.

My journey to health began in childhood, but took a dramatic turn when I was 16. My mother suffered a massive stroke, an experience that forever changed my perspective on health and life. I learned that health isn't something to be taken for granted and that active choices are essential. This event shaped my mission: to transform a traumatic experience into a positive contribution to the world.

The pillars of a healthy life

With years of experience as a lifestyle coach, I focus on five pillars essential for a healthy and vital life: Nutrition, Exercise, Relaxation, Behavioral Change, and Environment & Ecosystem. Each of these pillars plays a unique role in achieving balance between body and mind.

Sports and Exercise as a Foundation

Sports have always played a central role in my life. From the age of six, I was actively involved in gymnastics, and later completed a higher professional education in dance in 1994. For me, movement is more than just physical activity; it's a way to channel energy, find balance, and strengthen both body and mind. This foundation forms the basis of my work as a lifestyle coach.

During my journey to a healthier life, I developed a passion for cooking. For me, cooking is a creative and joyful way to promote health. I strive daily to prepare nutritious and flavorful meals that are in harmony with the environment and animal welfare. I love sharing this passion to inspire others to adopt a healthier and more conscious approach to food.

Outside of work, I find peace and fulfillment in my vegetable garden. The process of sowing, growing, and harvesting connects me with nature and offers a valuable moment of reflection. It's a place where I not only make sustainable choices but also gain new energy and inspiration.
